The least among us aren’t the least amongst us all. It was a BINGO Throwdown pitting teams of senior citizens (BINGO-playing experts) with kids, two generations younger, as their partners. It wasn’t competitive, it was empowering. Big-eyed toddlers looked up to their partners for advice and assistance, expecting patience and wisdom. Given the opportunity to assist rather than require assistance, brought loving focus to the adults.
I was privileged to document part of the game and provide photos to all involved. Not all my fellow residents remembered playing, but when they saw themselves in the pictures and knew they were having fun.
Legacy Memories are so important.
